Location
Situated on a huge, unspoilt piece of land comprising woodland, meadows, and a 700-yard shore in the scenically still most pristine part of the »Great Mazovian Lake District«, this is one of the most beautiful motorhome and camping sites you can find in Mazovia.
It is here, between Steinort Castle and the picturesque village of Harsz on a peninsula in the midst of Lake Dargin and Lake Mauer that you will find the ideal setting-off point for your excursions.
Near-by Sights
The Borken Heath with its wisent enclosure and black storks, the »Wolfsschanze«, the »Heilige Linde« (Holy Linden) place of pilgrimage, the Loetzen and Angerburg Castles of the Teutonic Order. In any case, you should not miss going on a canoe tour on the Sapina, a brook winding through a virgin landscape.
What does the Site offer you?
Modern sanitary facilities; a restaurant; a quiet district; a meadowland direct on the shore of Lake Dargin; in some spots shade from trees; a flat, sandy beach. Desks, benches and fireplaces are on hand. Even many species of animals that have become rare elsewhere can be found and watched on our site. Early in the morning there are cranes and storks on the meadows, you can watch the beaver building its lodge in the reed, and even the elk pays you a visit.
There is a special camp for boy scouts and youth groups on a clearing. Firewood and timber will be supplied. Fridges are available. A small restaurant on the site cares for your well-being. Here, the lady of the house is in charge - let her spoil you with delicious Polish special dishes! There are two boats (el. motor resp. petrol engine) for fishing available for hire. An underwater map, an echosounder, a downrigger and a deepfreezer are on hand.
